Coronavirus: Actions We're Taking
Your wellbeing is our top priority, and these are some of the steps Maze Rooms is taking to prevent exposure of this virus:
– We provide hand sanitizers at every location;
– We are taking extra precautions sanitizing rooms, wiping down locks and door handles after every game;
– All our rooms are private and you won’t be paired with strangers during your experience;
– We provide latex disposable gloves to the customers if needed;
– We encourage all guests to wash their hands before and after the experience.
What is an escape game?
Real-life room escape games are a type of physical adventure game in which people are “locked” in a room with other participants and have to use elements of the room to solve a series of puzzles, find clues and escape the room within a set time limit.
Work as a team to solve puzzles, explore clues, and use available tools combined with logic and your senses to find the keys and open the door to freedom within 60 minutes!
This activity is recommended for: personal improvement, team building, relationship strengthening, quality family time, fun with friends, an unusual date night, student activity, tourist attraction.
Is there an age limit to play?
Yes! Each room has a very strict age limit. Please visit our AGE REQUIREMENTS section.
Maze Rooms reserves the right to request an ID from customers who might be minors. Anyone under our age restrictions will not be admitted and NO REFUND will be given. Children CAN NOT be left unattended in the lobby.
Can I reschedule or cancel my game?
Maze Rooms has a 24 hour cancellation policy. There is no refund for cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, or in case of no-show. No changes to a reservation will be made within 12 hours of the scheduled game start time. No cancellation fee applies for cancellations made 24 or more hours in advance. To cancel the game or change booking time, please call +1 (310) 595 28 81.
Same day bookings: This bookings are non-transferable. No refunds or reschedule will be made if you miss your scheduled game. No exceptions.
Tickets are transferable, so if you are unable to come you can transfer your ticket to a friend, they just need to bring a booking confirmation with them.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
No, you don’t need to bring anything! Everything you need to solve the puzzles will be provided. Please wear something comfortable, as some rooms require physical activity and crawling. You must leave your mobile phones and other devices in the lockers at reception. This game relies on your wits and brainpower, your phone will not help you here! Also no photo or video recording will be allowed inside the room.
Dangerous or hazardous materials, food, alcoholic beverages and beverages in cans or bottles may not be brought onto the premises.
Are there any restrictions to experiencing the escape room?
During the experience, participants will be exposed to loud sounds, sudden movements and effects which may be too intense for some people. Due to the nature of the game, we are not ADA/Wheelchair accessible. We are sorry for any inconvenience. Please do not show up intoxicated. Persons who appear to be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs will not be allowed to participate and NO refund will be given.
People who suffer from claustrophobia can participate, as mostly all our rooms are the size of the regular room (about 500 sq. ft), but if you are still feeling uncomfortable you can call us or email and we will recommend the room with the high ceilings and large space.
What are our prices?
The prices that are listed by Maze Rooms include 60 minutes of play in our game:
$35 – $38 per player group of 3 and up (depending on the location)
$49.50 – per player for group of 2 people
For larger groups, you can split the group in halves and play two or three rooms at the same time. All other services that are not included in the initial reservation will be billed in addition.
Do I need to book the game?
We are working by appointment and accept online reservations ONLY! The game can be booked on our web-page la.mazerooms.com.
All reservations are private, meaning that you are reserving a time slot for you and your team only. We are unable to hold time slots without payment. If you are not sure how many people you have in total, we recommend to book the game for 2-3 players ($99 deposit to hold the timeslot) and pay for the rest of players at the location (cash and credit cards are accepted).
If you already booked a game and you’d like to add additional participants to your team (within maximum occupancy), you may do so when you check in prior to your scheduled start time. You must be at least 18 years old to make a reservation.
How many players can I bring?
We will admit no more than 7 PLAYERS into a room, NO EXCEPTIONS. This is for your enjoyment of the game, it is designed to be solved by this many people and would not be fun for more players.
Please pay your attention that due to the nature of the game the maximum capacity of VR Cosmos Game is 5 players. Also, not more than 6 players will be allowed in the Lunar Mission room. If you have a larger group, you will need to split into smaller teams and play in different rooms. We have locations with multiple rooms, so please pay attention to the address of the location, when you book a larger group.
How early should I arrive?
Players MUST arrive 15 minutes before the reserved time. There are waivers and instructions that must be given.
What if I’m late?
All games start on time, as we are working according to the strict schedule. If you are late the game will start without you and no refund will be given. Players can not enter or exit a game once it has already started.
Is it hard to solve clues? What if I get stuck on a puzzle?
All our rooms are designed to be challenging in a fun way! People of all skill levels enjoy this game. During your game you are allowed to ask for hints and the game master will be on hand to help you.
How long do I have to escape?
Each game is exactly 60 minutes. After 60 minutes the game master will open the door and let you out.
What is the refund/exchange policy?
You are purchasing tickets to a timed, live-action event. Therefore, all sales are final. There are no refunds. Rescheduling permitted with at least 48 hours notice. If you need to reschedule with less than 48 hours notice, there will be a $20 rebooking fee per game.
